Players simply click on a launch code, head to the starting line, and begin the scavenger hunt whenever they've got a spare two hours. This adventure will take you through the heart of Pittsburgh and let you see how it has changed over time, while also having fun. You will be given a series of clues. Each clue will help you find the next clue. In essence, instead of a scavenger hunt, this is a scavenger race and quest. When you are ready to start your hunt, purchase your tickets, gather your hunting party, and head to the starting location. Participants are not required to reserve a set time in order to begin the scavenger hunt. Once the purchase is confirmed, you'll be instructed to visit local supplier website. On the day of your scheduled hunt, the website will be your guide through the city.

Parking

Free parking for our visitors is available in the center island on Schenley Drive. Metered street parking available on either side of Schenley Drive is also free after 6 p.m. Monday – Saturday and all day on Sundays. 

Accessibility

Our gardens are wheelchair accessible with the exception of the Stove Room, located in our west wing. Manual wheelchairs are available at admissions free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. At this time we do not have strollers, wagons or electric wheelchairs for rent.

Tour Duration

An average self-guided tour takes at least 90 minutes but visitors can easily spend an entire day enjoying the beauty and serenity of our gardens. Please plan to arrive in plenty of time to complete your exploration before close.

This 3-5 hour trip is a perfect setting for introducing paddles (age 5 and up) to rafting. Calm pools, meandering rapids and playful swimming holes are the order of the day.

Guests meet their guides at the check in area, issues life jackets and helmets, then prepare for transportation upstream to Confluence, PA to begin their rafting day. Trips are run in 4 to 6 person rafts with guides accompanying the trip (not in the raft). While this section is mostly flat water, it does require paddling. Everyone is expected to paddle. Everyone falls in love with beauty of the world renowned Presque Isle State Park. As you approach the water side you begin to feel the excitement of Lake Erie, but the lakeside park makes it a true fishing adventure with an outstanding destination experience. Seven AM comes early, so don't get to consumed by the local casino and very tasty food options. If you're looking for adventure and to relax on the water you just can't design a better get-a-way for an angler at heart than Lake Erie.

Pre trip gitters, no problem the Captain provides fishing instructions and casting lessons which are all included for beginners and advanced techniques for the experts. Charter is suited for both first-timers, experienced anglers, elderly, youth, families and children of all ages and are handicap friendly. Everyone is sure to have a blast as you fish with ease and comfort during this Lake Erie charter.

The trip starts with meeting your captain at the location on your itinerary, it beautiful location on on the bay with great parking. After meeting the captain he will get you arranged and go over any equipment and safety needs. Soon after your departing for a quick ride across the bay that will find you heading directly to the best smallmouth bass in the area, here you go!
Once you arrive at the fishing location everyone gets a rod that wants one. Optionally you can lay back and take in the Lake Erie sunshine. Once the catching starts, your captain will know which fish are legal to keep and all the local laws of how many each person can harvest if desired.
Depending on the length of the trip and weather will determine how places you go and what area you fish. The longer the trip the more time you have to explore. If you choose the 9hr trip with the lunch break, captain will provide with options for eating and the time is very flexible. After a nice lunch on the water off to catch more fish. Once the trip time expires, you head back to the original dock to where your vehicle is parked.

All while out on the water, the boat will have cooler on board with ice and bottled water to keep you hydrated which is included. There's plenty of space to bring lunch sandwiches and snacks of your choice if you desire. Also any additional favorite beverage of your choice, including alcohol beverages which are preferred in cans but not required. Never concern yourselves of the worry of restrooms, as there are several location along our path while we fish.

Also everyone is sure to have a blast as you fish with ease and comfort in new 22' Ranger boats in the calm backwater never needlessly worrying about being seasick.

Lower Yough Pennsylvania Escorted White Water Rafting

The Lower Yough's 7.5 miles of 22 class II- class IV rapids snake through the unspoiled beauty of the Ohiopyle State Park's valleys and ridges. The guides will entertain, provide direction, and give assistance throughout your 5-hour day. A sack lunch will be served about mid-way downstream and transportation will be provided back to the check in area.

Meet for check in at your reserved time. Guests may rent wetsuits if they prefer and will receive their life jackets at this time. After check in guests will proceed to the river launch area where they will receive an orientation on paddling and safety points. You will launch approximately 1-hour after check in. From there you will raft down the river accompanied by your professional guide staff (not in the raft with you).  Everyone on the tour will pull off to the side of the river before each major rapid and receive instruction on how to complete the rapid. Rafts will then proceed through the rapid one raft at a time. After completing the rapid, everyone will be instructed to pull off to the side of the river until every raft has traveled through. The groups will then continue downstream to the next set up area. A sack lunch will be served mid-way downstream and transportation will be provided back to the check in area. Trips have a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 80 people.
