Come watch the recently updated Blue Man Group in Chicago at the Briar Street Theater. As one of the longest running show in Chicago, the Blue Man Group is responding to the ever-changing technology by integrating new-age technology into their shows.

The show features the Blue Man Group's 'GiPad,' a giant tablet, for several aspects of the show. The lights, colors and spectacles fascinate kids, while adults enjoy the humor and social commentary of the Blue Man Group.

Despite the all-ages appeal, the Blue Man Group is not recommended for children under five years of age. It is up to the box office or front of house manager's discretion to admit children under the age of three into the theater. All children must have a ticket and sit in their own seat.

This intimate magic show is replete with mind-blowing magic and mind reading involving guests both on stage and from their seats. Now in its 7th year, The Magic Parlour has entertained guests from all over the world looking for an extra-special night out in Chicago. To date, the show has hosted more than 20,000 guests and over 700 ticketed performances. Performed for just 44 guests, seating at The Magic Parlour is general admission and arranged in a cabaret style giving everyone a wonderfully close-up experience with the magic.

All tickets are held at will-call. Please check in 15 minutes before your showtime at Potter`s, the bar located on the lobby level of The Palmer Hilton House. From there, your host will direct you to the performance venue.

ARRIVAL TIME
Please check in at least 15 minutes prior to show time at Potter`s. A few minutes before showtime you will be directed to The Magic Parlour venue by a member of the team. Once you've arrived inside the private room at the Parlour, you will be able to choose your seats, and wine, beer and soft drinks will be served (included with your tickets).

RUN TIME
The Magic Parlour is a 90-minute experience performed without intermission.

ACCESSIBILITY
The Palmer House is fully accessible, and all floors may be accessed by elevator, located on the south end of the hotel. If you or someone in your party uses a wheelchair, or would like additional time to get to your seats, please provide notification so arrangements can be made. Although assisted listening devices are not offered, all seats are within 20 feet of the performance. Opened in June 2003, Lookingglass Theatre Company is located inside the Water Tower Water Works building on the Magnificent Mile in Chicago.  Its pieces have an emphasis on the spectacular and the physical.

What will I see at Physical Festival?

Contemporary: The Festival seeks to program work that uses cutting-edge, on-the-pulse theatrical forms that are responding to the contemporary moment using contemporary notions of theater. 

Visual: The Festival seeks to offer work that elevates the visual aspects of its stories, theater which is occupied with the creation of visual atmospheres and images as much as verbal text.

Physical: The Festival seeks to present work that pursues storytelling through primarily physical means, whose aim is to create original stories which start and end with the body as the foundational textual source.
