UNO Pizzeria and Grill: Deep-Dish Cooking Class with Lunch in New York City

Learn how to create the perfect deep-dish pizza from the restaurant that invented it! Join a cooking class at any of five participating UNO Pizzeria & Grill locations. You'll shape dough in an UNO deep-dish pan, crush tomatoes to create your own sauce, layer your cheese, and add your choice of toppings the way you want them.

Over 70 years ago, UNO Pizzeria & Grill brought its iconic deep-dish pizza to pizza lovers across the country. Now, the restaurant is opening up its kitchen to show you how to perfect its legendary recipe. Your cooking class includes instruction, a pizza lunch with salad, and a beverage. Enjoy your custom creation for lunch and take home the recipe to make it again! Classes are taught by UNO managers with decades of deep-dish knowledge.

Classes are available Tuesday through Saturday (subject to availability) and run from 8:45am to 10:45 am. Not valid on holidays or holiday weekends.

Introduction to Hydroponics & Indoor Farming Class

Learn how to design and construct your a home hydroponics system which will allow you to grow herbs, greens, fruit and flowers indoors within a controlled environment under artificial light.

This introduction to the high-tech world of indoor growing will open your eyes to the possibilities of year-round, pesticide-free, high-quality, high-yield agriculture suitable for any size.

In this class, you will be given hands-on instruction under the guidance of our experienced horticulturalists and plant scientists for crafting your own growing setup and be able to produce delicious food from seed to harvest.

The experience begins upon arrival to 77 Worth Street, a historical building dating back to 1865. The first thing you may notice is you're about to enter Atera, a prestigious 2 Michelin-star restaurant. Tempting as dinner may be, you'll proceed downstairs to the labyrinthine basement and perhaps catch a glimpse of renowned celebrity Chef Ronny Emborg prepping his kitchen for the evenings service. Further down this hallway you'll find Farm.One. Since this space houses both an operational farm production facility and an operational fine-dining restaurant,  please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early and please do not loiter in the hallway.

First your instructor will give you an overview on the history of Farm.One, followed by a brief summary of the technology we utilize and the philosophy behind it. Following this, you'll enter the grow room where the hands-on classroom begins. Each guest will get the chance to taste dozens of rare herbs, microgreens and edible flowers accompanied by expert commentary and a more detailed look at the specific components from which the farm is constructed, and interactive instruction utilizing actual production plants and equipment.

NYC Rooftop Yoga

Enjoy a one hour class with the best NYC yoga instructors. The class begins at 1pm and ends at 2pm followed by a glass of wine. You are free to stay after and enjoy the views and ambience of the rooftop bar.

Join us for an evening of wellness on top of NYC's best rooftop bars. Relax and rejuvenate with an hour-long sweat-sesh, of yoga, with some of the best instructors in NYC. Enjoy the Manhattan skyline while getting your OM on. Your ticket includes a glass of wine to enjoy after the class. You may stay after and mingle with other yogi's.
