Seeing Europe by Bus

Busses are the next most common method of transportation in Europe after trains and flying. While trains can be faster and are a smoother ride, it's nice to take it slow, much cheaper, and sometimes even a necessity. Additionally, buses in Europe can help you get to places where flying or trains can't!

It can be hard to beat traveling by bus whenever you're on a shoestring budget. You'll be jumping from A to B for a few euros and the further east you're traveling, the further your pennies will bring you. Many Eastern European countries do not have extensive train networks, so do not be suprised if you find yourself on a bus lasting up to 10 hours or so.
