This day trip from your Waikiki hotel takes you on a sobering journey through US history to the site of the World War II attack on Pearl Harbor. After, drive by air-conditioned coach through the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific — aka Punchbowl Cemetery — and downtown Honolulu, including stops at Kawaiahao Church, King Kamehameha statue and the Mission Houses Museum.

Start your Pearl Harbor tour with hotel pickup in Waikiki by air-conditioned coach. Your full-day tour includes skip-the-line admission to each attraction, including the USS Missouri and USS Arizona Memorial.
Your first stop is the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center to see artifacts from the bombing that propelled the US into WWII. Certified Diving Tour: Waikiki South Shore Shallow Boat Dive

Adventure Honolulu
$150
Small group scuba dive tour outside world famous Waikiki Beach! Enjoy amazing reefs, abundant Hawaiian marine life, and great views of Honolulu!

Your tour will take place at one of these dive sites:

Turtle Canyon
-15 to 30ft/5-10m**
Its in the name! As many as a dozen green sea turtles can been seen together here. Take a knee and watch one of the busiest turtle cleaning stations on the island. Several at a time gather to have their shells cleaned by tangs, wrasses and other fish. The turtles are used to divers, so getting a photo with one is usually easy. Don't touch though, these guys are protected by law.

Nautilus Reef - 30 to 60ft/10-18m**
A great example of Hawaiian hard corals create a nice elongated reef. One of those rare dives where white tips can almost always be found resting under lave rock ledges by day. Massive yellow margin moray eels, leaf scorpionfish, and octopus are also common

Horseshoe Reef/Kewalo Pipe
- 40 to 65 ft/12 - 20m**
Another south side double whammy! Horseshoe reef gets its name from its shape. Here you can find several species of eels, pincushion starfish, and antler coral. Swim 50ft/15m to Kewalo pipe. Certified Diving Tour: West Side Wreck Dive

Adventure Oahu
$150
Small group wreck and cavern dives from the west side of Oahu. Amazing views of untouched mountainside and seasonal humpback whale sightings.

Venture to the side of the Island few visitors have the chance to see. Crystal blue waters meet along the entire coastline creating an amazing, tranquil dive experience. Keep your eyes out for pods of spinner dolphins, and in the Winter months the Humpback Whales breaching.

Your tour will take place at one of these dive sites:

The Mahi Minesweeper - 70 to 90ft/20-27m**
Though this wreck was sunk on purpose to create an artificial reef, you would think it was in battle! Originaly a Navy minesweeper, this ship was thrashed by two different storm years apart, finally completely ripping her clean in half. The main attraction here is the frequent spotted eagle rays. As many as 3 dozen strong have been reported here. There is also huge schools of blue line snapper, octopus, eels, and occasionally a very large barracuda.

LCU - 60-80ft/18-25m**
LCU stands for Landing Craft Unit. This is another great wreck on the west side of the island. Though it is new and the growth is still sparse there is still lots to occupy your time here. Aside from the ship, over a hundred z blocks were scattered and now house white tip reef sharks, trumpet fish, and more.

29 Down -70 to 85ft/20-26m**
This is the sunken plane from the TV series "29 Down." Though much of the plane has been battered away from large swells, there is actually quite a nice reef surrounding it where many of Hawaii's fish and critters can be spotted.

Makaha Caverns - 25 to 60 ft/8 - 18m**
A staff favorite. This site boasts some of the best examples of Hawaii's unique lava topography with trenches, lava tubes, and caverns every way you look. Stick close and follow our guide as they point out huge sleeping turtles, several species of lobster, resting white tip reef sharks and more. Take time to appreciate the ambient light show through the skylights in the tops of the caverns.

Stars - 25 to 60 ft/8 - 18m**
Another west side must dive! Known locally as Keau Corners, this is another great topography dive. Here you can drop through a vertical lava tube down to the bottom where you make your way to one of the most spacious caverns on the island. Everything from rare nudibranchs to the endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal can be found here.

Black Rock
- 75 to 85 ft/22-26m**
Follow a long lava rock overhang and look for turtles, sharks, and occasionally eagle rays. Lots of crustaceans and shells can be found here as well. Watch your depth, this site can distract you!

Arriving the summit of Mt Haleakala, marvel at the dormant volcano's enormous crater, which measures 3,000 feet (915 meters) deep, 2.5 miles (4 km) wide, 7.5 miles (12 km) long and 22 miles (35 km) in circumference. Although the volcano last erupted in 1790, the land surrounding the lava flow still appears barren. Keep a jacket handy for the cooler temperatures at the summit.

In contrast to the stark volcanic terrain of Mt Haleakala, the Iao Valley boasts lush emerald rain forest interspersed with waterfalls, swimming holes and jagged mountain landscapes. Enjoy about an hour at Iao Needle, a rock pinnacle that stands 2,250 feet (686 m) above sea level. Take a stroll along an easy trail that gives you great views of the Iao Needle and the park's breathtaking scenery.

In addition to the natural highlights of the island, stop in the town of Wailuku, located near the Iao Valley. Have time to explore the quaint town and see the historic Ka'ahamanu Church, named in honor of Hawaiian monarch Queen Ka'ahamanu.

Your knowledgeable guide shares stories about Maui's sights and history throughout your day, along with plenty of stops for photo ops and a lunch stop (own expense) around mid-day. At the end of about an eight hour tour on Maui, your guide takes you to the airport for your return flight to Oahu.

Eastern Oahu Shoreline Tour

Nature Tours Honolulu
$50
The perfect afternoon begins by cruising the slopes of Diamond Head.  Then follow the trail of volcanoes winding along the shoreline from Hanauma Bay to the Halona Blowhole - where plumes of sea spray burst skyward through ancient lava tubes!  Enjoy myths, legends, & fascinating trivia while traveling the stunning East Coast.  Finish high atop the wind-whipped Nu'uanu Pali Lookout.

Take an afternoon getaway that will sweep you along the stunningly rugged eastern coast of Oʻahu and up to the windswept cliffs of the Nuʻuanu Pali.  Your tour guide will show you all the best this beautiful corner of the island has to offer-and personalize the experience with stories and history along the way.

It's an early afternoon pickup that begins with your E Noa guide's greeting of Aloha.  The perfect afternoon begins on the slopes of Diamond Head, Hawaii's most famous landmark.  Seabirds soar above the island's windswept eastern coastline and invite you to view the crystal clear waters of Hanauma Bay, sheltered in the remains of an ancient volcanic crater.  Your guide points out ancient lava fields descending into the sea and Halona Blowhole, a natural wonder where lava tubes meet the crashing surf, where geysers of water burst forth from the dark rocks in syncopation with the sea.

Sandy Beach, Makapuʻu, Waimanalo, Sherwood Forest.  These are the body-surfing playgrounds that draw locals from all around the island.  Beware. It is not as easy as it looks!

Next you turn towards Oahu's lushly green Koʻolau Mountain Range, and begin the ascent.  Soon you find yourself high atop the Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout, secluded valleys and misty peaks stretched all around you.  The wind is fierce as you look out from the spectacular and historic viewpoint and your guide tells you of ancient Hawaiian battles fiercely fought.

Sailing south along the coastline from Waikiki toward Diamond Head, enjoy two provided alcoholic drinks and a pupu platter of appetizers while you watch the sun slip below the horizon. Unlimited nonalcoholic beverages plus hotel pickup and drop-off are included.

After select hotel pickup in Waikiki, slip off your shoes at the pier and board a 53-foot-long (16-meter) power catamaran that holds a maximum of 49 guests.
(Your shoes will be stored safely during this barefoot cruise.)

Once the boat sets sail, use your two provided drink tickets to order cocktails, beer or a selection of white wines from the bar. Enjoy unlimited nonalcoholic beverages, and purchase additional beer and mixed drinks available at a discount, if you wish.
While you cruise south along the coast toward Diamond Head State Monument, bite into pupu appetizers such as Kalua pork wontons with sweet chili sauce, caramelized onion meatballs, and a cheese and cracker plate with grapes.
When the captain turns around at Diamond Head (Le'ahi), admire the darkening silhouette of the prominent crater — one of Hawaii's most renowned landmarks. The boat pauses here so you can bask in the sunset glow over the sea and look for the elusive ‘green flash' on the horizon before returning alongside a glittering skyline to Waikiki, where you're dropped off at your hotel.
